We are currently looking to recruit a bank support worker, to join a small team, caring for a young man living in Eastbourne with learning disabilities and complex epilepsy.

Hours will be to cover weekends, annual leave and sickness.

All shifts are 7am-7pm.

Drivers license preferred.

Non smoker is essential.

Rate of pay is £14.40.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Clinical tasks
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Looking after pets
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
