I am looking for personal care for a Child

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hours per week:

1 PA 7 hours a week term time 4 hours on a Saturday to support at swimming and 3 hours one day after school (actual day and time by mutual agreement. School holiday 2 PAs needed for two 4 hour shifts each week. (actual day and times by mutual agreement)

Hourly pay rate:

£10.45

My happy and affectionate 5 year old son is obsessed with animals and loves being outdoors and swimming.

He is nonverbal and is a sensitive little boy who likes routine.

I am looking for a patient PA to take my son swimming on a Saturday in term time and engaging him in other activities one day a week after school, keeping him safe.

In the school holidays I am looking for 2 PAs to work together for two 4-hour shifts engaging my son in activities he enjoys in the community.

Job share is welcome so please apply for all or some of the shifts available.

Duties include:

  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Transportation
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

  • Accompanying employer’s son on trips out to activities he enjoys eg, swimming, trips to the park etc
  • The above duties may involve driving the employer’s son in the PA’s car for which mileage of 30p per mile will be paid.

  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Must be comfortable with dogs
  • Must be comfortable with the fact that one parent smokes but generally not indoors
