About me

Hi my name is Liz and I am a very enthusiastic person, especially when it comes to my work.
I have been a care worker for over thirty years, working in various health care settings.
I started out working for the NHS in Scotland as a support worker for adults who had learning disabilities and I worked there for 18 years. I supported many people over the years who lived in the resource centre where we helped to prepare them to develop the skills needed to live more independently in their own homes.
I spent the following years as aselfemployed

My experience

Over 30 years hands on experience, 18 years of which was within the NHS in Scotland and the remainder working in various care settings within the healthcare sector. I am also a fully trained spinal care PA and prefer to work on a live in rota as I enjoy building good relationships and the continuity of care this work brings. Thank you for viewing my profile and I hope I can be of service
