Autism: Meltdowns and Shutdowns

This session focuses on the phenomenon of meltdowns and shutdowns which are commonly experienced by autistic people at every age and will offer information on what causes them, how to reduce the chances of them and how to support an autistic young person before, during and after a meltdown or shutdown.

Who is this course for?

This training is for personal assistants who are looking to gain essential knowledge to help them with their work.

Fully funded training

This course is fully funded for personal assistants who are employed by an individual employer receiving a direct payment funded by West Sussex or Croydon.
